The assassin represents a group of toughs specifically trained for violence. They are experts in fast, stealthy combat, but in a pitched battle they are outmatched by professional soldiers and heavily armored knights.

As part of ducal quests and missions, assassins can also be used as bodyguards for non-player characters, or conversely, as their name suggests, in an assassination attempt.
